some feeling about CSC165 after two weeks

Before the first class of CSC165, I was worried a lot about it since it's a course with so much logic. As a Chinese student, no worries about my brain power(We suffered tons of tricky questions from different classes in high school and finally alive!) but my English maybe a headache problem. I was afraid that I couldn't catch the instructor. However, couple of lessons later I found that language was not really a problem because Danny made every point very clear. Although sometimes it took me a while to understand the question when other students were already solved it.
The classes so far were mainly about precision, quantifiers,verify/falsify, sentences and symbols. i was struggle with Venn Diagram for a while because the relationship between different sets really made me confused. I don't know how many people have suffered the same problem as mine, which is when I meet a tricky question and cannot solve it, even don't know what to do. Then I become irritable, the more irritable I am, the harder to solve the problem. Challenge for me is not only figuring out the relationship between the sets, but also trying to calm  myself when I meet a tough problem.
Verify and falsify are interesting because we need to use precise claim to make our statement
impeccable. To make that happen, we need a proper way to consider and solve problem, which is also the goal I would like to achieve. Getting a high mark in this course is important, but mastering how to think is more important. If I reach that level, I believe many courses would be getting easier.
Two weeks have passed, there must be more challenge ahead, best wishes to my classmates and I, hope we can learn more valuable thing in the course.
